CorelDRAW® X6 Tutorial : Creating Pop Art

How To Create Pop Art in CorelDRAW

This tutorial demonstrates how easily you can create your own Pop Art poster using any photo of your choice.

1.  Import the image you wish to use

2.  Select:  Bitmaps Mode Black and White (1 bit)

Choose Line Art from the Conversion Method drop down list and change the amount of black and white by sliding the Threshold gauge to the left for lighter and to the right for darker.

To Zoom out simply right click inside the left preview window and each click will zoom out one level.

1.  You can change the black in the image by right clicking on a color in the Color palette or change the white of the image by left clicking on a color.

4.  Use the Pick tool to resize the image so that it takes up roughly 1/4 of the page.

5.  To duplicate the image use the key combination CTRL+D on your keyboard and create 3 duplicates.

6.  Place the images together and select a different color for each to produce a stunning Pop Art result.
